Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow. It empties today of its strength.
Almost everybody worries. It can be a healthy response to life, preventing us from being reckless. But some people worry a lot more than others, and sometimes to the point where it becomes a problem in itself. Worrying means spending a lot of time thinking about bad things and being preoccupied with negative possibilities. You can't control everything. There will always be things or situations that won't go your way. We may become overly concerned with future events. We may engage in repetitive negative self-talk with all the worst case scenarios. Don't miss out on all the good things you have at the present moment. People worry because they think something bad will happen or could happen, so they start a strategy of worry and think that if they worry they can prevent that bad thing from happening or can catch it early.
Stop worrying about the future because you can't control the future, you can't predict the future. Sometimes the worst is not as bad as you think. Because of worrying, you're missing the best time of your life now.
Worry is the darkroom in which negatives are developed.
If you're doing your best, you won't have any time to worry about failure.
If we spend our time with regrets over yesterday, and worries over what might happen tomorrow, we have no today in which to live.
Worry often gives a small thing a big shadow.
