STAY COOL: Think About Yourself.

If you concentrate on winning the votes of people you don't like and who don't like you, you are taking your power and energy away from the people that really matter.

If you’re kind, compassionate, and empathetic, you probably want to help family, friends, and strangers. Your may have good intentions but it could backfire on you. It’s best to focus on you and your life. Allow others to walk their path at their own pace. If you’re asked for advice, give it but don’t force another to take it. There is a proverb, “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t force it to drink.” Everyone has free will, they can beat to their own drum. Their beat may not be the same as yours, it’s alright. Follow your beat, and you’ll live a happy, peaceful life.

Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it. You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection-Buddha.

This life is yours. Take the power to choose what you want to do and do it well. Take the power to love what you want in life and love it honestly. Take the power to walk in the forest and be a part of nature. Take the power to control your own life. No one else can do it for you. Take the power to make your life happy.

You can't please everybody, so you might as well focus on pleasing yourself and those that do actually care. Others might create more problems in your life than you'd like, but that's how it goes sometimes. Let others do their thing and just try to focus on yourself.

Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don't wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it's at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored.

He who trims himself to suit everyone will soon whittle himself away.
