If you are afraid of failure, you don't deserve to be successful.
No one likes to admit they've failed. In business and in life people are rewarded and praised for success. That ends up creating a culture where we don't learn from failure, and could end up repeating mistakes. One of the greatest gifts of failure is the knowledge that failure is never final, unless we choose to give up.
You can't let your failures define you -- you have to let your failures teach you. You have to let them show you what to do differently the next time. Lets read a short motivational passage of Thomas Edison, the inventor of Light Bulb :
The story goes that Thomas Edison failed more than 1,000 times when trying to create the light bulb. His secretary, being frustrated told him,"sir, we have failed 1000 times, I think it's more than enough."
Hearing her words Edison allegedly said, "I have not failed 1,000 times. I have successfully discovered 1,000 ways to NOT make a light bulb."
The idea is that even if you try and fail, it doesn't mean that you didn't learn something.
You Cannot learn from others success, You need to learn from their FAILURES.
In the movie, P.S. I Love You, there was a line,
"If you're doing your best, you won't have any time to worry about failure."
As I told in previous blogs, A minute's success pays the failure of years, If you have made mistakes, even serious ones, there is always another chance for you. What we call failure is not the falling down but the staying down. One day you will come to believe that all your past failure and frustration were actually laying the foundation for the understandings that have created the new level of living.
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.
